DAC webinar: Global value chains and the new geopolitical world order - Where does Africa fir in?

Events of the last year have made it clear that the world is moving towards a model of two hegemonic blocs and a third group of loosely aligned countries. African countries largely fall into this third group.

This realignment is focusing multinational enterprises to reconsider where they invest and what kinds of activities to engage in, and African governments - most of which are dependent to some extent on foreign investment - must act to strengthen their position in this changing world order.

In this webinar, host Professor Rajneesh Narula (OBE) brings together a panel of experts to debate the choices available and how states can respond to these rapidly unfolding challenges.
