Professor Marc Day is an experienced scholar, consultant and teacher in the areas of operations management and strategy. His particular interest is in how organisations configure business and co-create value with suppliers.
Marc teaches on both the Henley Global MBA and the Flexible MBA. He is known for his pragmatic and multidimensional approach to strategy. His work emphasises that effective strategy requires understanding and integrating three key contexts: the external environment, the internal resources and capabilities of the organisation, and the organisation-specific context. He encourages managers and students to think creatively and ambidextrously, using context to leverage their organisation's strengths for competitive advantage.
