Join us for an inspiring morning of insight and conversation as we host a Leadership Breakfast and Leaders' Clinic spotlighting Dr Reuel Khoza's latest book, Essential Reflections. 

This event brings together thought leaders and practitioners to explore how ethical leadership, governance, and African values can shape a new era of business and societal transformation.

Meet the speakers:

  • Dr Reuel J. Khoza – Dr Reuel Khoza is a distinguished Africanist, business leader, and President of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA). With over 40 years of executive experience, he currently chairs Discovery Bank, Dzana Investments, and Hlayisani Capital. A respected academic and author, Dr Khoza serves as Chancellor of the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has written several influential works on leadership and governance, including Attuned Leadership and Let Africa Lead. His visionary contributions have shaped corporate governance in South Africa and earned him numerous lifetime achievement awards.

  • Felicity Dire – Felicity Dire is a strategic communications and editorial specialist with over 15 years of experience across corporate, public, and academic sectors. She is the Founder and Principal Editor of Joy Quill Afrika, an editorial and publishing practice that has produced notable works such as Essential Reflections: Reuel Jethro Mbhayimbhayi Khoza. A Henley alum currently pursuing her Executive Global MBA, Felicity brings deep expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and editorial leadership.            

  • Monde Ndlovu – Monde Ndlovu is the Managing Director of the Black Management Forum and a leading voice in economic transformation and inclusive leadership. Known for his strategic insight and policy advocacy, he plays a pivotal role in advancing Black leadership in South Africa’s corporate landscape. A prolific writer and commentator, Monde is passionate about youth empowerment, governance, and building equitable, sustainable economic systems.

  • Lynette Chen - Lynette Chen is the Director of Lync Africa Consulting and the Founder and former CEO of the NEPAD Business Foundation. With extensive experience in business development, public–private partnerships, and continental policy advocacy, she has been instrumental in driving Africa’s development and investment agenda. Lynette continues to champion sustainable growth and leadership across sectors through her advisory and consulting work.
